I took it in 2019-2020. Really, really worth it. I learned a huge lot about the brain that broadened my perspectives on AI. I was also interested in the perspective of cognitive scientists on AI and, as I was expecting, they treated it as another statistical tool. They sometimes used ML to treat data, but don't remember hearing about DL once.

Mathematics is very beautiful for sure! But it'd be too much for me. From mathematics you can always go to AI later with a stronger background than everyone around you!
