So good that you still keep your passion for ML! But I think not everyone is the same. My points are that AI, as it is today, isn't close to what the industry, as a whole, is selling. Some people are trying to convey an honest view of what AI is (all those I'm referencing and more).

The fact that most people, including many that work in AI, don't know the current limits and scope of this technology is an issue imho. I don't think ML/DL is inherently bad at all. But we should be aware of what it is and not idealize it.
